Proceeding contribution from Lord Evans of Temple Guiting (Labour) in the House of Lords on Thursday, 24 November 2005. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee proceeding on Transport (Wales) Bill.

Transport (Wales) Bill

I have quoted the Office of Fair Trading that this is not a widespread problem. The noble Lord, Lord Bradshaw, says, ““This is a terrible problem; an appalling problem””, but he has not given us one single piece of evidence to support that contention. I suggest that before the next stage of the Bill the noble Lord should supply the evidence to substantiate his strongly held claim that the Office of Fair Trading is wrong and he is correct.
