Proceeding contribution from Lord Evans of Temple Guiting (Labour) in the House of Lords on Thursday, 24 November 2005. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee proceeding on Transport (Wales) Bill.
Transport (Wales) Bill
Clearly, we will return to this at the next stage; but I have just been given some information that I am sure will be of great interest to the noble Lord, Lord Bradshaw. He talked about a decline in bus use; in fact, bus use in Wales has actually increased since the introduction of the free bus pass. However, we shall return to this at a later stage. If any questions have not been answered, we will deal with them in correspondence and I suggest that for the moment that we declare a truce on this amendment and move on.
