Proceeding contribution from Lord Livsey of Talgarth (Liberal Democrat) in the House of Lords on Tuesday, 18 October 2005. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee proceeding on Commissioner for Older People (Wales) Bill [HL].

Commissioner for Older People (Wales) Bill [HL]

I am very grateful to the Minister for that acknowledgement of the situation with which we are confronted. It may be appropriate to say now that I hope that some statements can be made in the Bill’s interpretive provisions to clarify some of the issues we have debated. Meanwhile, in view of the Minister’s helpful statements, I beg leave to withdraw the amendment. Amendment, by leave, withdrawn. [Amendment No. 16 not moved.]
