Proceeding contribution from Baroness Finlay of Llandaff (Crossbench) in the House of Lords on Tuesday, 18 October 2005. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee proceeding on Commissioner for Older People (Wales) Bill [HL].
Commissioner for Older People (Wales) Bill [HL]
I support the amendment to which the noble Lord has spoken. Without gathering information and clearly addressing the dangers of elder abuse, which has been referred to, we will leave the commissioner unable to be as effective as one would wish.
