Terrorism Bill
I thank the noble Baroness for giving way. I, at least, am one person in this Chamber who finds a strange discordance between the legislation now being discussed to criminalise the glorification of terrorism, the long record of the IRA in glorifying terrorism until recently, and the idea that are we being asked shortly to forgive completely—not just to forgive, but to forget about—people on the run from terrorism. Could that not be described as somewhat ““encouraging””?
