Proceeding contribution from Lord Thomas of Gresford (Liberal Democrat) in the House of Lords on Tuesday, 13 December 2005. It occurred during Committee of the Whole House (HL) and Debate on bill on Terrorism Bill.
Terrorism Bill
I am suggesting that this is a party that eschews violence, embraces peaceful and democratic aims, but glorifies terrorism that has happened in the past. If the Government, not liking its current stance, decided to proscribe it for glorifying Saunders Lewis, I am sorry that the noble Lord does not understand. Perhaps I can explain it more clearly.
