Proceeding contribution from Baroness Scotland of Asthal (Labour) in the House of Lords on Tuesday, 17 January 2006. It occurred during Debate on bill on Terrorism Bill 2005-06.
Terrorism Bill
My Lords, the matter in the amendment to which the noble and learned Lord, Lord Cameron of Lochbroom, referred, and the question of the noble Baroness, are taken up by Amendment No. 68A, proposed by the noble Lord, Lord Elton, who is not in his place. I am loath to go into the detail, but suffice it say that subsection (3) is automatically limited by subsection (1). I hope that helps the noble and learned Lord. On Question, amendment agreed to.
