Terrorism Bill
had given notice of his intention to move Amendment No. 73:"Leave out Clause 21." The noble and learned Lord said: My Lords, in view of the Government’s acceptance, even if only on a technical basis, of the amendment put forward by the noble Lord, Lord Kingsland, I withdraw my objection to the clause. It was never a technical objection, but now it does not arise. [Amendment No. 73 not moved.] Clause 23 [Extension of period of detention of terrorist suspects]:
