I thank the noble Lord, Lord Carter, for that very helpful suggestion. As my question during the Minister’s reply indicated, I think there are different approaches to wild birds in every EU country in any case. I shall withdraw the amendment at this stage, but I mean to return to this issue on Report. Amendment, by leave, withdrawn.
