Proceeding contribution from Duke of Montrose (Conservative) in the House of Lords on Monday, 27 February 2006. It occurred during Committee of the Whole House (HL) and Debate on bill on Natural Environment and Rural Communities Bill.
Natural Environment and Rural Communities Bill
IĀ find it a trifle curious that the further four Acts which the Minister has mentioned were presumably debated at some length in this House. We would like to hear a little more explanation of why the circumstances are now so different that he feels the power to obtain a warrant should be extended to these Acts.
