Proceeding contribution from Lord Bach (Labour) in the House of Lords on Monday, 27 February 2006. It occurred during Committee of the Whole House (HL) and Debate on bill on Natural Environment and Rural Communities Bill.

Natural Environment and Rural Communities Bill

The noble Baroness knows why it has not been debated. I have explained fully to the Committee, and indeed to her by telephone this morning, to explain why. It is absolutely a matter for her whether she chooses to speak to or move her amendment today. But she cannot blame us if she has difficulties with it.
