Proceeding contribution from Lord Clinton-Davis (Labour) in the House of Lords on Wednesday, 1 March 2006. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee proceeding on Company Law Reform Bill [HL].
Company Law Reform Bill [HL]
I am grateful to my noble friend. Does he agree that what happens in the top echelons of a company regarding pay and conditions of service is shrouded in mystery so far as the man or woman in the street is concerned? I submit that the information is deliberately withheld. What my noble friend seeks here is to make transparency a reality.
