Proceeding contribution from Earl of Listowel (Crossbench) in the House of Lords on Thursday, 9 March 2006. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee proceeding on Work and Families Bill.
Work and Families Bill
It has been made clear to me that it is helpful from the child’s point of view if the parents’ return to work is phased, rather than sudden. Perhaps the Minister might write to me with any helpful information on how that sort of phased return is being supported. The amendment might be helpful in that.
