Proceeding contribution from Lord Hunt of Kings Heath (Labour) in the House of Lords on Thursday, 9 March 2006. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee proceeding on Work and Families Bill.
Work and Families Bill
I am grateful to the noble Baroness, but could she clarify something? The amendment as so amended appears to relate in part to a situation in which notification has to be given for leave when a woman becomes pregnant. Is the noble Baroness talking about the period when the woman is actually on leave and giving notice of coming back to work?
