Proceeding contribution from Duke of Montrose (Conservative) in the House of Lords on Monday, 20 March 2006. It occurred during Debate on bill on Natural Environment and Rural Communities Bill.
Natural Environment and Rural Communities Bill
My Lords, we support my noble friend in these amendments. The Minister in his letter of 7 March outlined to us that there are two different types of inspectors at present, one of which can deal with the group 1 offences and the other with group 2 offences. My noble friend said on another occasion that it was impossible to distinguish between the two. Could the Minister clarify that point?
