Proceeding contribution from Baroness Hanham (Conservative) in the House of Lords on Thursday, 23 March 2006. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee proceeding on Electoral Administration Bill.
Electoral Administration Bill
I thank the Minister for her reply, which was very explicit and clear. I am glad that any changes will come through the affirmative resolution procedure. At an early stage in Committee, she read out an extremely long list of political parties, so if we return to this matter we might refer to the ““principal”” political parties. I accept what she says about that and I beg leave to withdraw the amendment. Amendment, by leave, withdrawn. [Amendment No. 102B not moved.] Clause 34 agreed to. Clause 35 agreed to. [Amendment No. 102C not moved.] Clause 36 [Translations etc. of certain documents]:
