Proceeding contribution from Baroness Noakes (Conservative) in the House of Lords on Thursday, 30 March 2006. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee proceeding on Company Law Reform Bill [HL].
Company Law Reform Bill [HL]
I have always thought that the best route through which to deal with the audit of companies was through company legislation. I think that the Minister’s reply has told us that this Government do not believe in joined-up government. However, I will not pursue the issue today. I beg leave to withdraw the amendment. Amendment, by leave, withdrawn.
