Proceeding contribution from Baroness Noakes (Conservative) in the House of Lords on Thursday, 30 March 2006. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee proceeding on Company Law Reform Bill [HL].
Company Law Reform Bill [HL]
I will read the record on it, but I do not think that it will answer the point I made, which is why we are creating this extraordinarily elaborate double-tier of arrangements when one would do perfectly well. So, unless the note the Minister has been passed is going to provide more light on this subject, we will be returning to it on Report. I beg leave to withdraw the amendment. Amendment, by leave, withdrawn.
