Army Barracks (Deaths)

: I have listened carefully to the hon. Gentleman saying what the Liberal Democrats want to put forward, but there were two occasions on which they could have influenced the matter. First, when the Select Committee put together its report, the Liberal Democrat Member very rarely attended. The second and most recent occasion was when we considered the Armed Forces Bill. The Liberal Democrat Front Bencher rarely attended that, too, and did not put forward any recommendations, but the hon. Gentleman is now saying what the Government should do. Will he tell me why they missed those opportunities?
