Proceeding contribution from Lord Crickhowell (Conservative) in the House of Lords on Wednesday, 3 May 2006. It occurred during Committee of the Whole House (HL) and Debate on bill on Government of Wales Bill.
Government of Wales Bill
I merely observe that the noble Lord speaks with all the authority of a man who tried on a number of occasions to be elected by the people of Wales and always failed. I am not sure that he is in a position to lecture those of us who stood consistently in Wales and were always elected.
