Proceeding contribution from Andrew Dismore (Labour) in the House of Commons on Thursday, 8 June 2006. It occurred during Debate on bill on Compensation Bill (HL).

Compensation Bill [Lords]

The problem is not so much the HSE but the health and safety industry, which perpetuates the myths about what is and is not required by the law as a self-justifying raison d’être. The problem is not so much the HSE; it is all the people who feed off the misinterpretations of the requirements.
