Proceeding contribution from Lord Garden (Liberal Democrat) in the House of Lords on Wednesday, 14 June 2006. It occurred during Debates on delegated legislation on Army, Air Force and Naval Discipline Acts (Continuation) Order 2006.

Army, Air Force and Naval Discipline Acts (Continuation) Order 2006

My Lords, as the hour is late, I shall speak briefly. I support what the noble Lord, Lord Astor of Hever, said. It is sensible that we shall continue to look at the progress of the Armed Forces Bill every year. That will give us a chance to raise issues that need to be considered. However, we have probably exhausted discussion on the Armed Forces for today.
