Proceeding contribution from William Cash (Conservative) in the House of Commons on Friday, 16 June 2006. It occurred during Debate on bill on International Development (Reporting and Transparency) Bill.
International Development (Reporting and Transparency) Bill
My hon. Friend will remember that the report of the European Court of Auditors comes out periodically. It has not been possible to sign off the accounts of the European Union for 12 years. I concur with his views on that subject, because if we do not sort that out, we will not be able to help the people who need help.
