International Development (Reporting and Transparency) Bill
I am enjoying my hon. Friend’s contribution. He mentions amendments Nos. 4 and 8, but may I suggest that new clause 7 would also be an appropriate focus for his remarks, as it states that the report should"““set out such barriers to development as appear””—" to the Secretary of State—"““to be relevant in the countries to which bilateral aid is provided””?" In that context, the security issues that my hon. Friend is rightly highlighting would fit neatly.
