Antisocial Behaviour

Will the hon. Lady confirm that in fact we discussed community support officers—which is, I think, what they were called at the time—in discussions on the proposed legislation that became the Police Reform Act 2002, not in those on what became the Anti-social Behaviour Act 2003? Therefore, I do not think that there can be any recollections of the tone of discussions of CSOs other than as generally supportive.
