Proceeding contribution from Lord Adonis (Labour) in the House of Lords on Tuesday, 23 January 2007. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee proceeding on Further Education and Training Bill [HL].
Further Education and Training Bill [HL]

We regard the Learning and Skills Council as a competent body decide which further categories it should consult, over and above those key, essential categories of learners and employers. As I said, I will happily reflect further on the remarks of the noble Lord and the noble Baroness, Lady Sharp, to see whether we think it is appropriate to make further changes.
