Proceeding contribution from Lord Bramall (Crossbench) in the House of Lords on Wednesday, 24 January 2007. It occurred during Debate on Armed Forces: Nuclear Deterrent.

Armed Forces: Nuclear Deterrent

My Lords, I did not suggest that it is illegal to have nuclear weapons. We have them quite legitimately. I plead guilty to the first thing the noble Lord accused me of, but not the second.
