Proceeding contribution from Lord Clinton-Davis (Labour) in the House of Lords on Tuesday, 6 February 2007. It occurred during Committee of the Whole House (HL) and Debate on bill on Legal Services Bill [HL].
Legal Services Bill [HL]
Why can it not stop there? It is always possible, if the situation demands it, for the Opposition of the day to say, ““This scheme is not working””. It is a little unreal to assume that five years would be appropriate, is it not?
