Proceeding contribution from Mike O'Brien (Labour) in the House of Commons on Wednesday, 7 February 2007. It occurred during Opposition day on Al-Yamamah Arms Agreement.
Al-Yamamah Arms Agreement
The SIS is happy for me to tell the House that it considered that there would be a risk to the UK’s national security interests if the al-Yamamah investigation were pursued. It had been informed of a threat to curtail co-operation directly.
