Proceeding contribution from Baroness Thomas of Winchester (Liberal Democrat) in the House of Lords on Wednesday, 28 February 2007. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee proceeding on Welfare Reform Bill.
Welfare Reform Bill
I thank all noble Lords who have spoken, especially the noble Baroness, Lady Meacher. Her experience is absolutely invaluable in this field. I shall study what the Minister said and see whether we need to come back at the next stage with amendments related to the problem of people with mental health conditions. Meanwhile, I beg leave to withdraw the amendment. Amendment, by leave, withdrawn. Clause 9 agreed to. [Amendment No. 48 not moved.] Clause 10 [Work-focused health-related interviews]:
