Proceeding contribution from Bernard Jenkin (Conservative) in the House of Commons on Monday, 2 July 2007. It occurred during Debate on European Global Navigation Satellite System.
European Global Navigation Satellite System
The hon. Lady says that the Government are giving the assurance that this will not be for dedicated military use. Why does she put the word ““dedicated”” in front of ““military use””? Why does not she just say that it will not be used for military purposes, end of story—or is this meant to be a covertly joint defence programme?
