Iraq
When the Defence Committee visited Basra in July, we found that 90 per cent. of attacks were on our forces. Is not the logical position that we should withdraw our troops, as our withdrawal from Basra palace has led to a significant number of attacks in the area? We are therefore part of the problem, not part of the solution.
