Proceeding contribution from Bill Wiggin (Conservative) in the House of Commons on Thursday, 6 December 2007. It occurred during Debate on Fisheries.
Fisheries
I will in a moment—the Under-Secretary must keep calm. He has only just got the job. I cannot say, ““Keep your hair on””, but I can say, ““Keep calm.”” The hon. Member for Angus (Mr. Weir) made a valid point. The Under-Secretary is right that steps need to be taken. I would argue that not enough is being done, and that steps are not being taken fast enough or effectively enough.
