Proceeding contribution from William Cash (Conservative) in the House of Commons on Wednesday, 30 January 2008. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee of the Whole House (HC) on European Union (Amendment) Bill.

European Union (Amendment) Bill

The Minister omitted the following words, which go to the heart of the point I raised with the Secretary of State:"““without prejudice to Article 175(2)(c).””" That takes us back to the arrangements for the approximation of laws and the internal market. Therefore, the Minister ought to be more explicit in his explanation, because he is fundamentally misconstruing the position.
