I wanted to make it clear that no one is expecting the commission routinely to disclose revenue information regarding NRPs to the parent with care in every case. I will study carefully what the Minister said, but I think that he is founding far too much on the ability of HMRC to be able to identify anything other than a single income stream, whether earned or otherwise. If that is the basis of everything that flows—I understand the need to get it done quickly and to get the assessment made and in place—there is a real risk that the parent with care, who is invariably the mother, will be left short-changed. We will come on to that later.
