Proceeding contribution from Nick Hurd (Conservative) in the House of Commons on Monday, 9 June 2008. It occurred during Debate on bill on Climate Change Bill [Lords].

Climate Change Bill [Lords]

The Committee on Climate Change is a key innovation in the Bill, which goes to the heart of improving accountability. It is, however, being asked to do a lot in a very short period of time. In the Joint Committee, we expressed concern about the amount of resources allocated to the new Committee on Climate Change. Will the Minister confirm its budget in its first year?
