Proceeding contribution from Stephen Ladyman (Labour) in the House of Commons on Tuesday, 31 March 2009. It occurred during Debate on The Economy.
The Economy
The Conservatives have been saying that for 12 years now. Before the hon. Gentleman leaves the subject of banking regulation, would he like to point to any speech that he made prior to this crisis in which he indicated that there was the wrong level of banking regulation? Would he like to contrast that with the speech that he made after Northern Rock went under, when he said that the problem was too much regulation?
