Proceeding contribution from Duke of Montrose (Conservative) in the House of Lords on Tuesday, 5 May 2009. It occurred during Debate on bill on Marine and Coastal Access Bill [HL].

Marine and Coastal Access Bill [HL]

My Lords, I am most grateful to the Minster for his reply. It is of course very useful that, even if the amendment is any good, he has at least stated the issue from the Dispatch Box for anybody who wishes to look at it again. We hope that if alterations to boundaries do become necessary—and I still think that they might—they will be achieved amicably and that there will not be any need to worry about rescinding legislation. In the light of these matters, I beg leave to withdraw the amendment. Amendment 58A withdrawn.
