No, I will not, because I want to bust the other myth, too. The cost of the scheme is covered by the fee, so the accusation that it is a waste of public money is false. Further, the Conservatives' own public finance policy is based on the idea that they can save money by scrapping the ID scheme, but the fact that it is a gross cost before income shows that there is not money to save by doing that. Once again, there is a black hole in their argument.
