Proceeding contribution from Lord Lloyd of Berwick (Crossbench) in the House of Lords on Monday, 13 July 2009. It occurred during Committee of the Whole House (HL) and Debate on bill on Coroners and Justice Bill.
Coroners and Justice Bill
As always, I am grateful to the noble Lord for what he has said and for offering certain alternatives that came to mind. However, I have not been persuaded that the amendment will not bring the benefits that I outlined and which other noble Lords have supported. Therefore, I wish to test the opinion of the Committee. Division on Amendment 187 Contents 145; Not-Contents 103. Amendment 187 agreed. House resumed.
