Proceeding contribution from Baroness Stern (Crossbench) in the House of Lords on Tuesday, 13 October 2009. It occurred during Committee of the Whole House (HL) and Debate on bill on Policing and Crime Bill.
Policing and Crime Bill
Bearing in mind the many discussions that we have had in this House about the conditions attached to control orders, I think that the Minister said "anything that is necessary to prevent gang-related violence". Would that include, for example, never being allowed to leave the house? Could such a requirement be imposed under the clause?
