Proceeding contribution from Baroness Walmsley (Liberal Democrat) in the House of Lords on Tuesday, 13 October 2009. It occurred during Committee of the Whole House (HL) and Debate on bill on Policing and Crime Bill.
Policing and Crime Bill
My Lords, I am most grateful to the Minister for his reply. It is heartening to hear that he is listening. We will certainly not press the amendments relating to the time limits. I am a little disappointed that he will not consider the renewal issue, but I suppose we should be satisfied with what we have. In the mean time, I beg leave to withdraw the amendment. Amendment 140A withdrawn. Amendments 141 to 143 not moved. Amendment 144 had been retabled as Amendment 145A. Clause 35 agreed. Amendment 144A not moved.
