Crime and Security Bill (Ways and Means)

With the leave of the House, Madam Deputy Speaker, I should like to respond to the ingenuity of the hon. Member for Romford (Andrew Rosindell) in managing to extend the areas covered by the resolution in order to question many substantive areas of the legislation itself. We are dealing with a Ways and Means motion, not a money motion. The motion that we are discussing is not, therefore, about the cost of the provisions, but about the charges and payments into the Consolidated Fund.
