Proceeding contribution from David Miliband (Labour) in the House of Commons on Tuesday, 23 March 2010. It occurred during Ministerial statement on UK Passports (Use in Dubai Murder).
UK Passports (Use in Dubai Murder)
As I said very clearly in my statement, the request for an individual to leave—and the decision of the Israelis to accede to that request—was made by us. It was linked, precisely as I have said, in the work that we have done to the investigations that have taken place. We have been very clear with the Israeli authorities about the basis on which we were asking for an individual to leave.
