Financial Services Bill
My Lords, we welcome Amendment 167A, which deals with the need to have regard to international conformity. We had raised the issue in an amendment that we have now withdrawn. We have no problems with the other amendments in the group. I shall say no more today on the subject of short selling. However, many people will be watching carefully to see whether the FSA uses the powers in Clause 13 wisely and reasonably. Amendment 167A agreed. Amendment 179A Moved by
