Proceeding contribution from David Nuttall (Conservative) in the House of Commons on Friday, 22 October 2010. It occurred during Debate on bill on Lawful Industrial Action (Minor Errors) Bill.
Lawful Industrial Action (Minor Errors) Bill
My hon. Friend is right. The concept that is introduced by the proposed amendment to section 232B of ““substantial compliance”” is a novel concept. I have not heard in the opening remarks in the debate about any other legislation where that is referred to and therein lies quite a major problem with this legislation. I turn to what is the crux of my argument.
