Proceeding contribution from Lord Laming (Crossbench) in the House of Lords on Wednesday, 2 March 2011. It occurred during Ministerial statement on Armed Forces: Redundancy.
Armed Forces: Redundancy
Could we return to the terms of redundancy? I am somewhat confused about the meaning of ““meanness””, compared to the meaning of ““fairness””. An earlier question was asked about meanness and the noble Lord described the terms as being fair. The question is: fair to whom? I simply ask whether the terms of redundancy are the same as before—the noble and gallant Lord, Lord Boyce, referred to them—or different.
