United Nations Security Council Resolution 1973

I could not have been more clear that we do not use those weapons and are not going to use those weapons. Let me be clear with the hon. Gentleman about why, specifically, I do not agree with the amendment. My second objection is that it says we should ““acknowledge”” rather than ““support”” UN Security Council resolution 1973. I think that is profoundly wrong. It is an important resolution that the UK helped to bring about, and I believe that the House should be frank and clear in welcoming it.
