Proceeding contribution from Angela C Smith (Labour) in the House of Commons on Tuesday, 5 April 2011. It occurred during Adjournment debate on Advice Centres (Barnsley and Sheffield).
Advice Centres (Barnsley and Sheffield)
What I am saying is that the Liberal Democrat council in Sheffield has cut funding and has given it for only six months. The key point, however, in relation to Stocksbridge advice centre is that it has lost £42,000 as a result of the abolition of the regional development agency. That is Government policy—it has nothing to do with the local council.
