Proceeding contribution from Ian Lucas (Labour) in the House of Commons on Thursday, 10 March 2011. It occurred during Grand Committee proceedings (HC) on UK Government's Energy Policy.

UK Government's Energy Policy

It is possible that what the hon. Gentleman suggests happened in some places, but I assure him that Germany’s sustainable feed-in tariff system was expanded because of its popularity. Furthermore, manufacturing industry was created on the back of the introduction of the feed-in tariff. That would be so valuable for the UK.
